Welcome to BBA's first private art exhibition with artist Fabien Dettori (@dettorifabien)!
After the success of eight solo exhibitions in Berlin and ahead of the Venice Biennale, Fabien Dettori presents his work in Hamburg for the first time. This exhibition marks a significant milestone in the artist’s career, featuring an exceptional curatorial selection.
Titled FRAGMENTS, the exhibition brings together a selection of previously unseen works, including several pieces presented as a preview ahead of their official presentation at the Venice Biennale. Conceived as an immersive experience, FRAGMENTS unfolds a subtle dialogue between photography, painting and materiality, exploring the artist’s core themes: memory, time, trace and the beauty of imperfection.

Fabien Dettori has developed a distinctive practicecombining instant photography, painterly interventions and gold leaf. Rooted in concepts such as wabi-sabi and kintsugi, his work transforms fragility into language.
