What is the BBA Mastermind Series?
Our Mastermind Series is a thoughtfully curated set of three sessions of 3.5 hours each + networking lunch, designed for entrepreneurs and self-employed international individuals like you. It's an opportunity to delve deep into your current business challenges in Germany, gain new perspectives from other series members, and receive actionable advice from a diverse group of peers who struggle with the same challenges as you.
At the heart of this series is the concept of mutual support and knowledge exchange. As a participant, you are not just there to seek solutions for your business challenges but also to contribute your expertise and insights to assist others. Each member brings unique experiences and skills to the table, enriching the collective problem-solving process.
Throughout the three sessions, you will have the opportunity to share your business's specific challenges and tap into the collective wisdom of your peers. Each participant is allocated a total of 45 minutes across all sessions to present their case and receive focused, collaborative feedback.
This format ensures a balanced and equitable exchange - you give as much as you get. By engaging in this shared learning experience, not only do you gain fresh perspectives on your challenges but also contribute meaningfully to the growth and success of other members' businesses. Who should attend the BBA Mastermind Series 1?
This series is ideal for business owners and self-employed individuals who are in the first five years of their entrepreneurial journey. If you're seeking advice, networking opportunities, and a supportive community to help grow your business, this is for you.
How many participants will be in each session?
Each session will have up to 6 participants. This ensures a close-knit environment conducive to meaningful discussions and personalised attention.
What is the structure of each session?
Every session is 3.5 hours long, starting with coffee and networking, followed by three 30-minute segments where 2 of the 6 participants present their business and receive feedback. Sessions end with a lunch break and assigning accountability buddies.
What should I prepare for the sessions?
Prepare a 10-minute pitch about your business, focusing on a significant challenge you're facing. Be ready to engage with others' pitches and offer constructive feedback.
Do I need to prepare a presentation like a PowerPoint for my pitch?
No, it's not mandatory to prepare a PowerPoint presentation. The key is to present your business and challenges in a way that's clear and understandable within the 10-minute timeframe. You can choose the format that you feel best conveys your message, whether that's a brief talk, a simple visual aid, or any other creative method.
What is the cost to participate, and what does it cover?
The cost is €180 per person for the entire series, which includes venue costs, coffee, snacks, lunch + facilitation
Can I attend just one session?
The series is designed as a cohesive experience, and participants are encouraged to attend all three sessions for maximum benefit. However, you should attend at least two sessions to fully engage with the group.
What if I miss a session?
While attendance at all sessions is highly encouraged, we understand that emergencies can occur. If you miss a session, we’ll help you pair up with an accountability buddy to catch up.
Can I deduct the cost of the BBA Mastermind Series 1 from my business expenses?
Yes, in most cases, you can deduct the cost of the Mastermind Series as a business expense. This includes the participation fee and any related costs, as it's an investment in your business development and networking. However, tax regulations can vary, so we recommend consulting with your accountant or financial advisor to understand how this applies to your specific situation.
Is there a refund policy?
Given the limited spots and planning involved, we do not offer refunds. However, you may transfer your spot to another eligible business owner if you're unable to attend. But this can only be done at the start and your spot is given for the whole series, not just one session.
How are accountability buddies assigned?
Buddies are assigned based on business similarities, challenges, and the potential for mutual growth. This pairing is aimed at fostering ongoing support and collaboration beyond the sessions.
