About the event
Mindful Moments for Mamas
Motherhood is a transformative journey that can feel very lonely at times. It can also bring unique challenges for those of us mothering abroad away from our families and support systems.
Many of us crave connection, trust, and reassurance and want to find our village and our support system. We were never meant to mother alone. We want you to know that you are not alone. We want you to feel cared for, looked after, and embraced.
We invite you to come together to reconnect, rejuvenate, and reflect. This monthly series of events is your opportunity to invest in some time that is just for YOU.
Let us help you to return to yourself, take a moment to relax and breathe, and feel safe and supported in our community of mamas from around the world.
On the 25th of September, 24th of October, and 20th of November 2024, we will provide a sanctuary at Lütten Nordlicht in Eppendorf so we can come together to support each other.
During our 2.5 hours together, we will practice mindfulness and yoga with wellness coach and pre/postnatal yoga teacher Monika Ferenz, explore our emotions through journaling, share our stories and challenges in a safe space, and unwind by sharing some wine and snacks.
Please note: We hold space for mamas at every stage of their motherhood journey – everyone is welcome. But these events are all about YOU, so we would recommend coming without your child/ren if possible, but if you need to bring them please let us know and we will work with you.

OTHER DETAILS
BBA Community was originally designed as a community for women. However, we recognize that individuals who do not identify as women may also face similar challenges. Therefore, we are actively striving to create inclusive environments that are friendly to individuals who identify as FLINTA (German acronym for women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans and agender people). If you're seeking a space where you can collaborate and connect with like-minded individuals, we welcome you to join us.

WHY IS THERE A TICKET FEE?
Running a community of the size of BBA with events multiple times per month comes with significant costs and time resources, charging for our events helps us to cover these costs + reward our staff/volunteers so that we can continue running BBA for years to come.
