A vibrant storytelling event celebrating International Women’s Day where women share honest, often humorous stories of life’s unexpected challenges at a supportive gathering in Hamburg.

Sh*t Happens Night is our take on the more well-known “f*ckup night” concept. The concept is that professionals share and openly discuss their professional failures and mistakes in an honest, often humorous way, with the aim to learn from mistakes.

This is a great concept, but we wanted to shape it to better fit our audience and our experiences. Referring to our mistakes as “f*ckups” didn’t quite feel right. Sometimes “failures” are out of our control and we have to deal with the consequences regardless.

Sometimes, sh*t just happens.

And a lot of that sh*t isn’t happening in the professional world, but in our personal lives as well.

So we coined Sh*t Happens Night, opening this event to more diverse experiences. And we hold the event every year around International Women’s Day in March.

What happens at our event:

They share their learnings and wisdom from these experiences to inspire us and let us know we’re not alone.

We leave time for networking so attendees can get to know each other and get to know the speakers.

We welcome corporate sponsors who would resonate with our audience of international-minded women in Germany.
